Orlando Guardians vs Houston Roughnecks Live Stream, TV Channel, How To Watch. XFL 3.0 kicks off this weekend, and Day 1 of the Week 1 schedule concludes with a game that could feature some interesting matchups. As the Houston Roughnecks kick off against the Orlando Guardians (formally the New York Guardians in 2020), we’ll see a mixture of both familiar faces and new names.

Of course, whether or not these intriguing players make an impact remains to be seen. For the most part, this game will be about both teams establishing themselves and making sure that the players on the roster fit in with their systems moving forward. Now, the question is: Which team between the Vegas Vipers, Arlington Renegades, Orlando Guardians, Houston Roughnecks, St. Louis Battlehawks, San Antonio Brahmas, Seattle Seahawks or D.C. Defenders will take home the 2023 championship?

The Guardians have moved from New York to Orlando for the 2020 XFL season. They compiled a 3-2 record in 2020, rebounding from a couple of blowout losses with back-to-back wins before the season was brought to a premature end. Terrell Buckley has replaced Kevin Gilbride as head coach and they possess a whole new roster.

One notable name on the roster is former NFL first-round draft pick Paxton Lynch, but he struggled at quarterback for the USFL Michigan Panthers last season. Orlando Guardians vs Houston Roughnecks

The Houston Roughnecks are one of the holdover teams form the 2020 season. The Roughnecks compiled a league-best 5-0 record before that campaign was brought to an early end, and many consider them unofficial champions. This 2023 group is very different from the 2020 team, with the head coach and all of their key talent gone.

New head coach Wade Phillips boasts a wealth of experience though and is considered one of the best defensive minds in the game.He has put together a talented roster that has a deep quarterback room and a wealth of talent on defense.
