Elks launch Nationwide linebacker Woodly Appolon

EDMONTON — The Edmonton Elks have launched Nationwide linebacker Woodly Appolon, the membership introduced Thursday.

The 28-year-old was acquired by the Elks through a commerce with the Ottawa REDBLACKS in February of 2023, reuniting him along with his twin brother and fellow former member of the Inexperienced and Gold Wesly Appolon.

In two seasons with Edmonton, the Montreal native suited up for 17 video games and recorded 5 particular groups tackles.

The Elks are presently on bye week however will return to motion on Saturday, September 21, once they tackle the Winnipeg Blue Bombers at Commonwealth Stadium.
