When Thursday Night Football was cancelled at the end of round 15 in 2024, it prompted a lot of comment from fans who missed out on the season-ending slot. SEN also reports that Essendon will play four Thursday night games, while Carlton, Hawthorn, Geelong, the Western Bulldogs and Brisbane Lions will play three games each.
The AFL is due to announce its full 2025 schedule on Thursday.
