The Bills have officially signed cornerback Xavier Rhodes to the team’s practice squad.
Rhodes, 32, is a former All-Pro cornerback (2017) and three-time Pro Bowl selection (2016, 2017, 2019) during his time with the Minnesota Vikings (2013-2019). He joined the NFL as a first round pick in 2013 (25th overall) with the Vikings out of Florida State. Bills defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier was the Vikings head coach when they drafted Rhodes.
He has 13 career interceptions with two defensive touchdowns. After spending seven seasons in Minnesota, Rhodes spent the last two seasons in Indianapolis.
In addition to adding Rhodes, the team also resigned defensive tackle Prince Emili to the practice squad.
